Mission Statement
The Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch is a no-kill, not for profit rescue and shelter organization whose goal is to save and rehome at risk animals with emphasis on those targeted for euthanasia due to overpopulation.
Blind Pass Screening
Sarasota Film Society in conjunction with Midnight Pass Productions is excited to announce the screenings of Blind Pass at both Burns Court & Lakewood Ranch Cinemas. Coming off a very successful screening last weekend at Tampa’s Gasparilla International Film Festival, Blind Pass is a film written and Directed by local filmmakers Steve Tatone and Danielle White. Ms. Danielle White also stars in the film along with film legend Armand Assante. Ms. White and Mr. Assante will lead a cast featuring Ed Lauter, Michael McGlone, Mary Rachel Dudley, Sydney Rouviere and Chris McKenna.
Blind Pass is a psychological drama/thriller about a wealthy young woman who is going blind and the psychologist who struggles to show her that life is still worth living. Both deeply flawed individuals hide dark secrets from each other…lest circumstances spin completely out of their control.
Blind Pass will be showcased at 7:00pm on Thursday Night Apr 18 at the Lakewood Ranch Cinemas and 7:00pm on Saturday Night, Apr 20 at Burns Court in downtown Sarasota. Proceeds from both screenings will benefit the Sarasota Film Society, Southeastern Guide Dogs & Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch. Sarasota Film Society is donating a portion of the proceeds from these two events to the Humane Society of Lakewood Ranch.
