Surrendering a dog or a cat can be a very difficult and emotional situation and the HSLWR strives to help all animals and their owners. The first step is to submit a Feline or Canine Surrender Application so that we may assess if we can accept your cat or dog.  All Surrender Application requests will be considered on an individual basis and you will be notified by our Shelter Director if we are able/unable to accept your application. We review each application carefully and we do not have a set Surrender Fee. Our fees vary, but may include and are not limited to whether or not the animal is spayed/neutered, microchipped and/or vaccinated. Please note that fees can be waived due to extreme financial hardships. Please  complete the appropriate online application below and we will be in touch as soon as possible.
