Meet August, the handsome 2-year-old Boxer/Terrier mix seeking his forever home. August here is a 61-pound hunk of love waiting to meet you! He was surrendered to our shelter back in February of 2025 due to no fault of his own, and he's now seeking an experienced, loving family. August is a bashful boy and not a very confident dog, however it doesn't take too long for him to decide you're his new friend! He loves with all of his heart and stays loyal to his person once comfortable. August would love to be the one and only pet in his forever home. While he prefers not to share his home with other animals, he does wonderfully when passing them on walks! He's ready to be someone's forever sidekick and soak up all the love, as well as attention. August has the silliest personality and is full of playful antics, such as running zoomies around the yard, throwing his toys in the air, and jogging by your side. He is super zestful and always ready for a new adventure, so if your days can be a little dull at times, August may be the one to make your life way more fulfilling! He would prefer to be in a smaller household with either 1 or 2 people, as he does better in a quieter environment with less humans around. August has had professional training while in our care and will be provided with all of the tools necessary for that training, as well as follow up sessions/help from the trainer. How can you not want a dog who already has training? A 100% certified good boy indeed! With August in your home, it will forever be filled with endless cuddles, laughter, and lots of "flying" toys.
