Cheeto

Meet Cheeto, the 8 year old Rat Terrier mix seeking his forever home! Cheeto here is a little gentleman who loves everyone he meets! He is known to be a lively pup who isn't ready to be called a senior just yet. Cheeto is currently 21.6 pounds, however, WeightWatchers is calling his name, so if you're prepared to go on lots of walks with your new canine partner, then Cheeto may be your match! Although Cheeto still has a lot of life left in him, he also has a very laid-back personality. He is always ready for a relaxing map after completing his exercise routine! Cheeto is very smart and knows the commands "sit" and "sit pretty" (but only if you have a tasty treat on hand). Cheeto overall is a fabulous pooch who is ready to find his forever people who will snuggle him and make sure he stays a healthy guy for the rest of his life! Cheeto gets along with other dogs but he doesn't fully engage with them. He also does well around cats and just ignores them. This cutie has not yet been formally introduced to children. Cheeto is scheduled for dental surgery with one of our vets, however he can still be adopted. We will provide more info when you come into our facility to meet him!

In terms of potty training, Cheeto is currently in a shelter environment where it's hard for staff to guarantee that he is fully house-trained. We tell everyone to treat your new shelter pup like a puppy when you bring them home to ensure that they learn your routine when it comes to a potty schedule.
