Cheryl Johnson

Cheryl moved to Lakewood Ranch from New Jersey in 2013.

She had been involved with a pet sitting/dog walking service, but didn't want to start a new business here. Friends suggested volunteering with the HSLWR, and that's how she became involved.

From walking dogs and helping at the Front Desk, she quickly became involved with fundraising events and then became an Adoption Counselor. When asked to join the Board, she happily accepted.

Cheryl and her husband Russ live in Lakewood Ranch with their cat Chewy. They love to travel and spend time with their daughter Ashley, son in law Dave, and grandson Keaton.

When not volunteering Cheryl enjoys playing tennis, cards and Mahjong.
