Are you looking for an energetic lovebug to let into your heart? If so, then you're in luck because here we have 2 year old male Whippet mix Crypto looking for his forever home! Crypto is currently 35 pounds, however our vet wants him to be around a healthy 40 to 45 pounds. Crypto came to HSLWR as an extremely emaciated dog in rough shape. We immediately knew that this boy would need to see a vet and get put on a special feeding schedule to ensure that he would become one healthy pup in our care. As a couple months went by Crypto started to gain weight and although it was a slow process we began to see a big change in his personality and body! He is now at a pretty good weight and is one happy pup. Crypto can be timid when meeting new people but is super friendly and will be your best buddy right away. This goofy boy is full of personality and loves to run zoomies around the yard and play ball. Because of his energy level, Crypto will need to go home with someone who has more of an active lifestyle. Crypto is so affectionate and loves to get pets and be by your side. He has not yet been tested with cats or kids. Crypto has not been in a playgroup with other dogs, however he tries to make friends with dogs he sees while at the vets office. If you're looking for a playful and friendly dog, then handsome Crypto could be the one! His adoption fee is $250.
