Meatlug

Meet Meatlug, the handsome 2 year old male French Bulldog seeking his forever home. This 32 pound pooch is energetic and full of fun! He's the life of the party and everyone who meets him will agree with that statement. Meatlug is super silly and has the most outgoing personality! He is more independent and would rather play with a ball than snuggle most of the time. With that being said, Meatlug does love to be pet and is very friendly, however when toys are involved, he prefers to entertain himself. Meatlug here is looking for an experienced family who is active and will ensure he receives plenty of playtime! He is also hoping his forever humans will let him choose as many toys as he pleases. If you love the goofy dogs who have a sweet demeanor and love adventure, then this dude may be your perfect match! In terms of potty training, Meatlug is currently in a shelter environment where it's hard for staff to guarantee that he/she is fully house-trained. We tell everyone to treat your new shelter pup like a puppy when you bring them home to ensure that they learn your routine when it comes to a potty schedule. Behaviorally, Meatlug needs to be in a home with 1-2 adults only in the household. He was adopted into a multi-family household, and it was not a good fit. Meatlug needs boundaries set and should not be allowed on furniture if he displays any aggressive behavior. He also didn't do great with house guests over and will need some training to learn proper greeting or be put up when new people come over. He must go into a home with someone who has experience with the breed or with any similar Bully breeds. Meatlug will be provided with one free training session in order to set him up for success in his new home.
