Pongo

Meet Pongo, the outgoing 3 year old male Dalmatian seeking his forever home. This 55 pound pooch is a loving boy full of affection! Pongo is very affectionate and a huge social butterfly. He loves everyone he meets and happily greets you with a wagging tail. Unlike most Dals, Pongo is actually more laid back and not super playful. He's the perfect companion for someone wanting a snuggle buddy who is very loyal to them! Pongo does have one naughty habit, which is jumping on you, however he believes he's just giving hugs, as he wants to be as close to you as possible. Velcro dog at its finest! Pongo would thrive in a home with a loving family who can provide him with lots of attention, as well as playtime. With sweet Pongo in your home, it will forever be filled with endless snuggles, happy smiles, and lots of love.

Medically, Pongo has what our veterinarian suspects is called "Masticatory Muscle Myositis," which is an autoimmune disease. A test was sent in to determine if he does have this, however it takes 2 weeks for results come in. Pongo will be available as Foster to Adopt at this time, so we can take care of his medical until then. This is very treatable and will not affect his health long term!
