Meet Roach, the three-legged 2 year old male Chihuahua mix seeking his forever home. This 10.2 pound cutie is a pooch full of love and loyalty! He is the definition of a "love-bug," and spending five minutes with this little guy is sure to show you just how. Roach came to us having recently undergone leg amputation surgery, and with lots of healing time plus some TLC, this pup is finally ready to find a loving family who will cherish him forever. He is also Heartworm positive, which means he will be available as Foster to Adopt while undergoing treatment (we cover the cost). Potential adopters MUST reside in Manatee/Sarasota County! Roach is a laid-back canine with nothing but fondness in his heart. He thrives on human affection and never strays too far from his person's side. If you're looking for a lap dog who wants nothing but cuddles and belly rubs, then Roach here may be your perfect match! Although he isn't a very active dog, Roach will go for light strolls with his people and also gets some pep in his step at times. One less leg doesn't stop this dude, and he sure can run. Although he isn't a very active dog. With Roach in your home, it will be filled with endless warmth, snuggles, and giggles! In terms of potty training, Roach is a good boy and holds it until he goes outside.
