Rolo

Do you crave having a lap dog? If so, then you're in the right place! My name is Rolo and I am a 6.1 pound, 4 year old female Chihuahua mix looking for my forever home. I am said to be the most lovable little girl and bond closely to my people once I'm comfortable. When first meeting strangers I am very shy, however I don't have a mean bone in my body and warm up to you quickly. My favorite activities include snuggling in your lap, laying in my comfy bed, exploring the yard, and hanging out in a doggy backpack during outings. I came into the shelter after being found as a stray and it was noticeable that I was favoring my back right leg area. It was soon found out that I have a fractured right hip and after seeing a surgeon, I overheard the news that my hip is healing on it's own and won't need any further treatment. Seems like great news for me! During my diagnosis I was in a foster home and did amazing! My loving foster did mention that I was a little feisty with her four dogs and may prefer to be a spoiled princess without competition. However, the workers here still believe I can possibly live with another dog if that dog is lowkey and will just coexist with me. All I want is to be in your lap and my life will be full of happiness! I am very chill and would rather cuddle up with you on the couch than play. My foster mommy even carried me on her back in a little backpack when she walked her dogs, because that's where I preferred to be. I also overheard that I am potty trained and I slept all through the night either on my foster's bed or under. I have not yet been tested with cats or kids at this time. My adoption fee is $200.
