Sam Samanowitz

Sam, our HSLWR Treasurer, grew up in New York and relocated to Florida in 2001. He attended the University of Florida where he met his wife Dr. Leigh Samanowitz. Sam and Dr. Sam own University Animal Clinic and have been supporting the Humane Society for years. Now, he is thrilled to be joining the board as its treasurer.

When not working at University Animal Clinic or serving on the board, you will find Sam cooking, expanding his wine knowledge as a sommelier, and spending time with his two dogs Max & Guinness.
