Susan Giroux

HSLWR Board Vice President, Past President and Board Member since inception in 2010. Former Board Member of the Robert Potter Animal Rescue League in Middletown RI.

Suan is the CEO and owner of Susan Giroux Inc., a children’s shoe design firm specializing in girl's products. She been designing shoes for over 34 years, and works with all the major American retailers, as well as European and Latin American companies.

Helping homeless cats and dogs find safe haven has been her passion, bringing her joy for many years, starting at 10 years old with her first stray Charlie.

Susan believes that since animals have no voice or choice, it is our duty to protect them.
