Meet Yuri, the shy but sweet 10 month old female Plott Hound mix puppy seeking her forever home. This 32 pound beauty is reserved around new people and unfamiliar situations, however she has a way of warming up to those who take the time to show kindness. Her soft eyes and timid nature are sure to melt your heart. From the moment she steps into your life, she's all in! Yuri forms deep bonds and gets very attached to the humans in her world. Although she is a nervous dog, Yuri is full of puppy energy and once she is fully content, you will see this girl bouncing around like a baby foal! She loves playing with her stuffed toys and curling up next to her humans when it's relaxation time. Yuri is looking to adopt a family who understands that she isn't a confident pup and will always be this way, as this is just her personality. A treat, a gentle word, and a little patience is all this pooch needs to thrive in her new home. Yuri may be bashful but her love is undeniable! Yuri is currently available as Foster to Adopt, as she has Demodex and is still missing some hair that needs to grow back and become healthy. She is currently on weekly medicated baths and antibiotics to aid with her skin. Yuri does well around other dogs but does get scared when they come off strong. She has not yet been formerly introduced to cats or children, however her loving demeanor is sure to shine through.

In terms of potty training, Yuri is a fabulous little girl and holds it until she goes outside here at the shelter.
