Zara

Meet Zara, the stunning 1 year old female German Shepherd seeking her forever home. This 60 pound pup was surrendered to our shelter due to no fault of her own after her owner passed away. Zara is the friendliest girl and loves her people! She is full of playful energy and is a typical Shepherd- loyal, smart, energetic, and enthusiastic. She enjoys playing fetch, running silly zoomies, and going for long strolls with her human(s). Zara would thrive in a home with an active, experienced family who can provide her with exercise, attention, playtime, and mental stimulation to keep her busy. If you love the German Shepherd breed and are looking for a trainable companion who is full of active energy and has an affectionate nature, then Zara may be your match! Zara lived in a home with small children, as well as big and small dogs. She is crate trained, potty trained, and trained with the commands sit, down, and shake/paw.
